MODEL T-100 TEN-CONDUCTOR DOUBLE-BRAID SHIELDED CABLE
( "TEMPEST CABLE ", " EMSEC CABLE ", " HEMP CABLE " )

This cable has:
* Ten insulated 24 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors,
* an insulating sheath,
* two layers of tinned copper braid,
* A drain wire,
* an insulating outer sheath.

This cable is available to all customers.

The T-100 is a general-purpose shielded cable that solves a wide variety of design problems in the fields of TEMPEST ( EMSEC ) , Electromagnetic Compatibility ( EMC )and High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse ( HEMP ). as well as conventional Radio Frequency Interference ( RFI ).

Made in USA and available from stock, the T-100 can be a quick, practical, and robust solution to many shielding problems.

For example: If, after several days of testing, your lab tells you that your product just failed a radiated Emissions test or a radiated susceptibility ( immunity ) test. and that the problem seems to be associated with one or more of your cables, you can:
a) Let the test continue, running up costs and gathering a lot of data that will only have to be repeated;
b) Cancel the test, re-schedule it for a (much) later time, bring your product back to your facility, and start working on a modification that you hope will work;
c) Go to the lab,( or send your best engineer,) with a hastily-gathered handful of parts, hoping that you can somehow make the problem go away, OR:
d)CALL US at (703) "TEMPEST" ( 703-836-7378 ) invest a hundred bucks or so for a few lengths of T-100 cable, cut by us to the length you desire, have us send it to you by FedEx next morning service. Add your connectors AND SHIELDED BACKSHELLS to the cable, and you have a high probability that this will fix the problem.

How can you be so sure that the T-100 will work for you ?
Unlike most shielded cables that you can find on the internet, The T-100 is shielded with two layers of carefully selected tinned copper braid. Now that you know this, what keeps you from building your own cable? Fitrst of all, it6's not that easy, it takes time to experiment, and you won't save that much money. But if you prefer to try this, be our guest!

On the other hand, if you prefer to copy our cable once you have bought one, that is OK too. We're easy.
