SECURE VIDEO ISOLATION UNIT

The TEMPEST INC. Model 0301 allows systems integrators to display commercial (BLACK) video signals, such as cable news and TV channels, on classified (RED) Information Technology Systems without compromising the classified data.

Specially Designed by a Certified TEMPEST Professional, every unit is tested and unconditionally guaranteed to comply with all current RED/BLACK Isolation requirements of the United States Government.

Specifications:

A. Inputs: 1 input on the rear panel, 75 Ohms impedance, BNC female connector, with a removable, double shielded, 3 foot long coaxial cable, with BNC male connectors on both ends.

B. Outputs: 1 output on the rear panel, 75 Ohms impedance, BNC female connector, with a removable double shielded, 3 foot long coaxial cable, with BNC male connectors on both ends.

C. Functions:

ON: Passes 75 Ohm video signals IN ONE DIRECTION ONLY: INPUT TO OUTPUT with no visible distortion. Blocks all video signals from going in the reverse direction.

OFF: Blocks all signals in both directions. This is the default position when power is interrupted.

D. Security: When operated in either the ON or the OFF position, the Video Isolation Unit is UNCONDITIONALLY GUARANTEED FOR ITS LIFETIME to meet current United States RED / BLACK isolation requirements. for video signals going in the reverse (output to input) direction.

F. Size: Not to exceed 19 inches wide x 19 inches deep x 1 3/4 inches (1U) high. Rack Mountable.

G. Weight: Under 25 lbs.

H. Power Requirements: Less than 5 amperes at 110 Volts a.c. via a commercially available, easily replaceable, outlet-mounted, a.c. adapter.
